Archery is the sport, practise, or skill of shooting arrows with a bow. The word comes from the Latin word arcus, which means bow. Archery has long been used for hunting and war. It is primarily a competitive sport and leisure activity in modern times.

Depending on the type of round, an archer can fire 3 or 6 arrows per end. The competitors walk to the goal after each end to score and retrieve their arrows. A typical indoor competition consists of 20 ends of three bows. Archers are given a fixed amount of time to fire their arrows.

Archery’s main advantage is that it increases hand-eye coordination. Aiming and shooting the arrow also improves concentration. With further practice, coordination can be strengthened. When taking aim and firing a projectile, the body must be kept in a steady position to improve equilibrium.

The basics of archery are the foundations for continuous shooting. These fundamentals can help you make crucial shots whether you’re drawing on a deer or shooting in a league. Your stance, grip, posture, bow arm, anchor point, release, and follow-through are all necessary.

Now you would have known many things about Archery. So let’s explore the list of best Archery courses online & offline available in India.
